Teori Kewirausahaan Intelektual: Fondasi Pembelajaran bagi Wirausahawan Mandiri di Era Industri 4.0
Abstract
The fourth industrial revolution has pushed small and medium enterprises (SMEs) into a new and challenging environment. In the context of Industry 4.0, SMEs are confronted with a range of complex and critical issues, including cutting-edge technological advancements, bridging the gap between virtual and real worlds, information overload, business globalization, and unpredictable, rapidly changing customer demands. The backbone of Industry 4.0 lies in the management of intellectual capital. The traditional concept of entrepreneurship does not adequately address these challenges. In the 21st century, there is a pressing need to develop a new model that enables smart organizations to survive and remain competitive in a knowledge-based economy. Based on the relevant literature and the theory of intellectual entrepreneurship, this study proposes a conceptual framework for intellectual entrepreneurship that aims to tackle the critical challenges faced by SMEs in the Industry 4.0 landscape. This model is founded on three main pillars: academic knowledge, intellectualism, and entrepreneurial intent. This study is unique in the Malaysian context and serves as a significant milestone for future researchers addressing SME challenges.
