Abstract

This research discusses the digital transformation carried out by Kellanova (formerly Kellogg) in an effort to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness in the midst of modern industry challenges. Through the introduction, it was explained how changing consumer preferences and market demands are driving companies to adopt advanced technologies such as AVEVA PI System, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and digital twins. Implementation methods include digitizing production lines, data-driven supply chain management, and using generative AI to create a more personalized customer experience. The discussion showed that Kellanova has succeeded in reducing product failure rates by 73%, increasing equipment reliability by 180%, and minimizing energy waste through real-time monitoring. However, financial challenges remain visible, with revenue declining from $15.31 billion in 2022 to $11.03 billion in 2023. This emphasizes that digital transformation is not always directly proportional to financial performance without an integrated strategy. The conclusions of this study show that digital transformation is a crucial step for innovation and efficiency, although it needs to be balanced with a sustainable business approach to achieve long-term growth in a dynamic market. This study is expected to be a reference for other companies that want to carry out similar transformations in facing global challenges.).
